Welcome to my multimedia page! Here, I showcase my videos, podcasts, visual photo stories, social media work, and live coverage!

Each podcast takes preparation before hand, but during the podcast, I really enjoy the casual feel and specifically getting to share my thoughts about award shows. 

One of the unique things about being a Sports Editor was creating photo stories every Winged Post cycle. While each photo story comes with hours of ideating, scheduling, and photographing, I'm always proud that each piece is ultimately successful in shining a light on and telling a story about our sports community. 

Prior to the Hoco game, my Co-Sports Editor and I prepared tremendously. We created spreadsheets to assign roles (photographer, writer, etc.) and had over 25 reporters sign up to help out. Making these spreadsheets taught me the importance of organization to ensure everything runs as smoothly as possible. We also made to-do lists, prewrote sentences, prepared the football roster, and made a shotlist. Lastly, we hosted a meeting with all the reporters to put everyone on the same page. Although the live coverage had hiccups we couldn't prepare for, the entire process was extremely fun. We saw everyone put in their full effort for over three hours, and I always enjoy looking back at our Hoco live coverage article. 

Inspired by our Hoco live coverage, Eva and I also wanted to do live coverage for other sports/events. We worked together to take photos, transfer them onto our phones, and quickly report on the games live. We hope these live social media stories will be further implemented in the future for sports and other sections.
